It's been far too long in the making but at long long last the original of Operons flagship production 'Airports' is now available for exclusive digital download! Originally released on 12" as a Nookie remix on the mighty Phuzion records, many people have been asking and wondering if the original was ever going to see the light of day but now its here: Featuring the sublime vocal talents of Australian diva Manta Ray, 'Airports' is a lush, emotive piece of music that can not only keep a dancefloor in check but also contains a musical sensibility reminiscent of artists like Everything but the Girl and kruder & Dorfmeister, making this a piece of music which transcends the status quo dnb styles. Definitely a step back to the early days of intelligent drum'n'bass but with modern cutting edge production and original style. Massive thanks to Nookie and the Phuzion Records camp for licensing this future classic to Golden Orb!
